Matthew is new to the ExpertCare team and has had a fantastic start. The consumer family called to share their enthusiasm about Matthew and how he is already making a difference in the consumer’s life!  The family commented on how Matthew goes above and beyond.  He has been very creative in his new position as a caregiver.  Matthew has helped his consumer apply for jobs and follow-up on job applications.  Matthew has gone as far as helping his consumer qualify to take his driver’s training courses.  This new confidence exhibited by the consumer was because of Matthew’s encouragement and help in preparing the consumer for his test.  This is a great success story that shows how the hard work from a caregiver can change the life of a consumer.  Great job Matthew and wishing you much continued success!

She is flexible with meeting staffing needs and changes and has helped fill in for different shifts when necessary.  Suzanne has been instrumental in helping the consumer better handle frustration.  Her consumer has showed remarkable improvement in aggressive behaviors and more independence in activities of daily living.  Suzanne has continued to provide consistent care and does so with a wonderful, supportive attitude.

Although Laura has been with ExpertCare for only a short period of time, she has made a lasting impression on everyone she has come into contact with. Laura has exemplified kindness and gentleness to everyone in our office as well as, with the consumer she works with almost daily. Of Laura’s many wonderful qualities, gentleness is her best quality; she is very kind and always keeps a sense of humor.

Per the consumer’s grandmother, “Laura is so loving and so patient and she actually treats her like her own [daughter]. She does everything for her [consumer], like she is her own child or grandchild and that’s what I like about her.” Laura has an extremely compassionate heart and a hunger to help any way that she can. Laura is consistently giving of herself for the needs of others.

Laura is a true angel among us because she effortlessly gives of herself, her time and her talent to help the needs of others. Laura has dedicated her life to the needs of others.

Shanta’ goes above and beyond for the consumers she supports.  She has gone out of her way transporting one of her consumers in order for him to receive needed support.  Shanta’ focuses on what is in the consumer’s best interest and works on the goals in the Plan of Service.  Shanta’s consumers enjoy being with her and has developed important bonds with reach of them.
