Caregiver of the month of April: Diamond Cabil 

Diamond has been a caregiver with ExpertCare for a short period but has already made a lasting impression with internal staff. She has proven to be someone with a compassionate and benevolent heart. The consumer family she is caring for has recently undergone an unfortunate and challenging event. Diamond has been there for the consumer and continues to show them unconditional support. She has gone above and beyond to make sure they are getting adequate help and has even helped the consumer get increased hours to assist during this challenging time. ExpertCare truly appreciates everything she does and is very proud to have her represent ExpertCare in the field. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in changing the lives of others.

Oakland County and SMART are teaming up to provide easy access to COVID-19 vaccinations for those who need transportation to and from their scheduled vaccine appointment. Oakland County Health Division and SMART incorporated the transportation service into the COVID-19 vaccine registration form at OaklandCountyVaccine.com. Any resident who has transportation needs simply checks a box to indicate they need a ride to their appointment. When they receive their confirmation email, they are prompted to call 1-800-848-5533 to schedule their transportation to and from the clinic. Health Division staff then contacts SMART to arrange transportation directly with the client. Please click HERE for more information.

Caregiver of the month of March: Korina Laymon

For a little over 2 years, Korina has been providing compassionate care for multiple consumers. She’s extremely dedicated to those she services and always goes above and beyond. Korina is being recognized by ExpertCare staff for always demonstrating a tremendous amount of patience and flexibility with any changes and for persevering with challenging situations.  She has always kept an open mind, especially with the transition from using paper time sheets to using the new electronic HHA app. Korina is always professional and pays attention to detail.  ExpertCare truly appreciates everything she does and is proud to have her represent ExpertCare in this field. Caregiver of the month of February: Paul Robitaille

Paul has been an outstanding Caregiver since he started with ExpertCare in 2018. He is being recognized because of his empathetic heart and for always helping his consumers stay on track with meeting their goals. He’s been providing care for one of his consumers through Telehealth services during the pandemic and has been consistent and reliable.  The consumer’s mom has shared that they view Paul as a family member because of how crucial his support has been to their lives!  Even though this past year has been challenging, Paul continues to lead others on the path to success. ExpertCare truly appreciates everything he does and is very proud to have him represent ExpertCare in the field. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in changing the lives of others.
