Caregiver of the month for November: Amna Malik

For the past 5 years, Amna has been providing compassionate care to the individuals she works with through ExpertCare. The pandemic has created challenges for many of our consumer families and Caregivers, but Amna has tried to make the best out of each situation by providing Telehealth services for one of her consumers. During a recent call with ExpertCare, Amna’s consumer expressed how much it means to her, having Amna checking on her regularly by phone to make sure she’s completing her goals, assists her with recipes for meals, and checks in on her garden. Even though they can’t see each other face-to-face at this time, Amna is still finding a way to make a positive impact on her consumer’s life. ExpertCare truly appreciates everything she does and is very proud to have her represent ExpertCare in the field. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in changing the lives of others.

Caregiver of the month of October: April Smith

April has been working with ExpertCare for the past three years. She has been recognized for always going above and beyond, and her dedication and reliability for the person she services. Whenever faced with a challenging situation, April handles it with professionalism and reaches out to ExpertCare staff for guidance. She always has a kind and soft demeanor when speaking with others.  April has continued to take on challenges and grow throughout her caregiving career.  April takes such passion and interest in her consumers to make sure they believe in themselves. ExpertCare truly appreciates everything she does and is very proud to have her represent ExpertCare in the field. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in changing the lives of others.

The Neighborhood House will be distributing boxes of produce for free to those in any community and any household regardless of income! Please see the Free Produce flyer for details on the pick-up location.

Please take a look at the SNAP September Update to ensure you are receiving the maximum benefit per household size. If you are not receiving the maximum benefits, additional benefits will be issued between September 20th-30th.

Caregiver of the month of September: Kimwonna Banks

Kimwonna has been providing excellent care with her consumers over the past year.  ExpertCare hears nothing but positive feedback from all the families she cares for, which is why she’s being nominated by ExpertCare.  She has built a great rapport with all of the families she works with and is always willing to pick up additional hours to accommodate her consumer’s needs. On multiple occasions, she has proven herself to be dependable and flexible. ExpertCare has recognized how she always has a positive and uplifting attitude whenever she calls the office.  ExpertCare truly appreciates everything she does and is very proud to have her represent ExpertCare as a Caregiver.  County Year End is September 30, 2020 and they place strict deadlines on timesheet submissions.

Please submit all completed timesheets and mileage reports, not yet sent to us for payment, for your time worked through September 30th by Tuesday, October 6th at 8am.
