Please see below for information regarding the MI Mask Aid effort:

The MI Mask Aid effort is a partnership between MDHHS, Ford Motor Company, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Michigan Coronavirus Task Force on Racial Disparities chaired by Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II to distribute 4 million free masks to vulnerable populations in Michigan who may not be able to afford them.

Low-income residents, seniors, schools, and homeless shelters will benefit from the MI Mask Aid partnership that is part of the Mask Up Michigan campaign. The effort also is intended to assist minority populations in Michigan who has been adversely affected by COVID-19 due to disparities in health care.

Anyone interested in receiving a free mask contact their local Community Action Agency or MDHHS office, or call the COVID-19 Hotline at 1-888-535-6136. Please note that availability may vary by location.
